Search Warrant Leads to Drug Seizure and Arrests in Maries County
On the evening of July 14, 2025, the Maries County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence near the Maries-Phelps County line. During the search, deputies discovered approximately one ounce of suspected methamphetamine and roughly 200 capsules believed to contain fentanyl.
Four adults were located at the residence at the time of the search. All four individuals were arrested and transported to jail pending formal charges through the warrant application process. It was also determined that three of the four individuals had active arrest warrants out of Phelps County.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the community for their continued support, and to my deputies for their dedication and long hours that made this investigation possible. As your elected Sheriff, I want to make it clear-illegal drugs will not be tolerated in Maries County.
